The Studer Covenant Alliance mission is to make a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones facing life-limiting illnesses by advancing the hospice philosophy; providing leadership development and coaching services; developing new tools and teaching materials; and hosting training institutes as we strive to broaden and fulfill life's journey and foster a deeper understanding of end-of-life care for those we serve.

Excellence in End-of-Life Care

We help to create better leaders, create consistency across the organization and put systems of accountability in place to promote execution and sustained results using a balanced framework. In today’s environment, it is imperative that organizations focus on leadership principles and five key areas in order to improve the quality of end-of-life care and operational success. Our hands-on approach will provide the strategies, tactics and tools necessary to create meaningful differences in the lives of thousands of patients and families and the staff who serve them across the following five key areas:

SERVICE: SCA works with hospice and palliative care organizations to improve the service given to patients and families in end-of-life care. Through a proven methodology, SCA works with teams to develop leadership techniques that enable organizations to provide the very best care.

QUALITY: SCA works with hospice and palliative care organizations in order to implement evidence-based tactics such as AIDET^SM in order to reduce patient and family anxiety and to create operational efficiencies. We will work with the leadership team to ensure that staff and volunteers have the tools and equipment necessary to provide excellent end-of-life care.

PEOPLE: SCA works with hospice and palliative care organizations to make each one a great place for employees to work and for patients to receive care. Reduce turnover and increase employee satisfaction through proven tactics that have worked in hundreds of healthcare organizations around the country.

FINANCE: SCA works with hospice and palliative care organizations to improve bottomline results while also providing excellent end-of-life care.

GROWTH: SCA works with hospice and palliative care organizations to increase growth. SCA partners with organizations to implement tools and tactics that lead to an improved reputation, increased referral loyalty with medical providers and better communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
